Two motorcycle wrecks and a serious car accident all in the same stretch of Howell County—that's the kind of week that reminds you why the ambulance crews around here earn every penny. We've got good people in the EMS service, and we've got decent roads most of the time, but this county's geography and speed don't always play nice together. Moderate Injuries for Lonedell Man After Motorcycle Crash
A Lonedell motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries Sunday afternoon when his Harley-Davidson veered off Highway 19 north of Eminence and struck a ditch. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash, which occurred around 1 p.m. on the northbound side of the roadway.
Ava Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident
An Ava man was seriously hurt early Sunday when his motorcycle left Route K south of Seymour, overturned, and ejected him from the bike. State Highway Patrol troopers documented the crash at 8:35 a.m. involving a southbound 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan.
Two Injured in Dora‑Area Crash; One Airlifted With Serious Injuries
A collision south of Dora on Friday afternoon left two people injured, with one airlifted for serious injuries after a Ford Taurus failed to yield while turning left into a Harley-Davidson. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the two-vehicle crash occurred at 4:20 p.m. on Highway H.
West Plains City Council to Meet Monday
