A wrong-way driver on I-10 killed someone this week, and now there's a homicide charge on the books—the kind of tragedy that hits different in a town like ours where everybody's either related to somebody or knows somebody who knows them. But while we're dealing with that heaviness, it's worth noting what else is happening: the animal rescue folks are getting help with spay-and-neuter work through that DAGSHIP grant, fire season's ramping up and we need folks to know how to report it fast, and the water park's opening for the summer.
