The county's heading back to the bond market again, which means someone up in the Commission offices thinks the water situation, the roads, and the pipes running underneath us all need another infusion of cash. Fourth time in a generation we've asked voters to float debt for infrastructure—and this one hits in September when half the county's at the lake or out of state. That's not accident. What matters here is whether four bonds in, we're finally building faster than we're falling apart, or just running harder on the same wheel. Either way, you'll be voting on it soon enough, and you might want to ask yourself what the first three bonds actually fixed.
