Ty's Take
Every year the Chamber's Wall of Honor reminds us that community doesn't happen by accident, and it doesn't get built by people looking for credit. These are the ones who showed up to the boat plants when work was scarce, who kept Bennett Spring's trout program humming, who staffed the Legion and the service clubs and kept Route 66 from becoming just another stretch of asphalt. Lebanon's the kind of town where you notice when someone's been gone, and you remember who made sure things didn't fall apart while they were here. The folks on that wall this year, whoever they are, earned it the way it gets earned around here: by doing the work when it needed doing, and not making a big fuss about it.
