Ty's Take
Slow week for big headlines, which in October usually means everybody's got their mind on harvest and the fall hunting opener. But there's enough here to remind you that trouble doesn't take a season off, whether it's somebody facing serious charges down in Grovespring or a situation Sunday that ended with law enforcement bringing someone in from a barricade. On the brighter side, Bear City's got their Fall Festival lined up for October 3rd, and there's word that a small business grant came through for the Houston incubator thanks to some work by Smith. In a region where most folks are trying to build something or hold onto what they've got, that kind of news matters as much as the arrest reports. Both tell you what's really going on out here.
