There's a stretch of bad luck running through the county this week, the kind that reminds you how quick things can turn. A four-car wreck south of town put four people in the hospital, somebody's facing charges over mushrooms (and you wonder what that conversation looked like), and we've got a local man dealing with burglary and theft charges on top of everything else. Add in the boil advisory up in Mountain View and you've got a week where people are just trying to keep their heads down and make sure their families are safe. The good news is the sheriff's office is doing its job, the hospital's doing theirs, and most mornings around here still start quiet.
