Foch Street is open again, which means downtown can breathe a little easier and maybe folks will remember why they parked there in the first place. Road work in a town this size hits different, ties up the whole rhythm of things, and we've all been patient. Now the real test starts, whether that reopened street becomes a reason to walk around and spend an afternoon or just a faster way through to somewhere else. The county is planning ahead too, which is what you do when you're sitting on geothermal water, a major lake, and a spaceport all within reach. Sometimes the small moves, like letting traffic flow again, matter as much as the big strategic thinking. Both are needed.
