Ty's Take
The rain from that hurricane system knocked out a couple of highways and left folks counting their blessings, but the real puzzle sitting in front of Grant County right now is how a screwworm showed up here in the first place. That's the kind of thing that keeps a veterinarian or a rancher up at night, because once you've got that problem on your doorstep, it doesn't just go away on its own. Meanwhile, the Film Fest is running this weekend and there's a school forum Friday night, so life moves on the way it always does around here, rain or shine, mystery or not. Just don't try taking the highway if you're not sure the water's down.
