The weather's been trying to kill us and help us in equal measure this week. Dust storms rolled through hard enough to close roads while flash flooding hit the Mule Creek area, which is the kind of violent swing that keeps folks in Grant County on their toes come monsoon season. Meanwhile, the Sheriff's Office is still looking for Jesus Pedregon and could use your help if you've seen him. On the lighter side of things, we're getting a documentary from one of our own screened at WNMU, and the Cobre school board is trying to dig out from under a backlog of audits that probably should've been handled months ago. Seems like a week where half the county is dealing with nature's mood swings and the other half is catching up on paperwork they can't afford to ignore.
