The library's hosting a nature presentation Thursday night, the kind of thing that probably won't draw much of a crowd until word gets around—and it should, because this is exactly the conversation Silver City needs to be having. We've got the Gila and Leopold wilderness areas drawing hikers and rafters year-round, we've got the mining legacy that built this town, and we've got a growing population that didn't come here by accident.
