Ty's Take

Two pieces landed today that deserve more than a glance. The Ark Valley Voice ran deep on Christian nationalism and local extremist ties, the kind of story that makes people uncomfortable because it puts names and faces on ideas that used to stay abstract. Same paper covered Love's proposal for Poncha Springs, which is really about whether we control our own growth or just watch it happen to us. These aren't separate fights. They're both about what kind of valley we want to be as money and people keep flowing in from the Front Range. The easy thing is to ignore one or the other. The hard thing, the necessary thing, is to sit with both.
