Ty's Take
There's a lot of noise in the valley right now about who's running what and why they won't say what they mean, but if you want to know what actually matters to people around here, skip the political letters and look at Matador Transit closing its doors overnight. A bus company folding takes jobs with it, sure, but it also takes a piece of infrastructure that connects this valley to the Front Range and beyond, and it leaves folks scrambling to figure out how packages get delivered and how people without cars get anywhere at all. That's the kind of change that doesn't announce itself with campaign rhetoric. That's the kind of change that just shows up one morning and stays.
