Ty's Take
Twenty-three years out from September 11th, and we're still sorting through what it means. A quarter century's distance gives you room to think, which maybe is the point of marking these anniversaries in a small town like this one, where most of us know exactly where we were that morning and who we called first. Meanwhile, the political shouting never stops, the car show rolls into Thonoff Park come Sunday, and down at the high school the soccer teams are chasing state with a new look. Life moves forward here. That's not callousness, just the rhythm of a place where you've got to tend to what's in front of you while holding space for what you haven't forgotten.
