Aug. 25 Multi-car Accident on Hwy 285 at CR 280
Colorado State Patrol and Chaffee County Sheriff's Officers responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 285 at milepost 140 near Nathrop on August 25 at approximately 3:41 p.m. The accident occurred just south of County Road 280 on the curve near the Chalk Cliffs.

The Tumbleweed bar in Buena Vista will launch a weekly Saturday-night movie series called The Tumbleweed Picture Show beginning September 5. Owners Leslie and Peter Hylton-Hinga are featuring classic horror films at 7:00 p.m. each Saturday throughout the fall.
