Ty's Take
The sky's been drawing a lot of attention around here lately, and this week you've got two chances to look up proper. There's a star party over in Buena Vista on the 12th to catch the Perseids, and then Friends of Browns Canyon is hosting another night sky event on the 15th down canyon. August is one of the best months to remember why folks settled in this valley in the first place, before the Front Range started discovering it. Get out there while the nights are still warm enough to lay in the grass and watch the show.
