Ty's Take
Somebody's finally making noise about the Dillon Log Cabin, and that matters more than it might sound to folks just passing through on I-44. These old structures don't stick around by accident, and they don't disappear by accident either. It takes real work, real money, and real people who care enough to show up and push back against time and weather and the simple fact that old buildings are expensive to keep standing. Meanwhile, two of our teachers just got some breathing room through those PCRT-PSPA scholarships, which is the kind of quiet good news that doesn't make headlines but keeps good people from having to choose between staying and leaving. Around here, that's worth noticing.
