Ty's Take
Downtown traffic's going to feel the squeeze this weekend and into early next week as crews tear into that Sixth and Rolla intersection, which if you've spent any time navigating uptown knows it's already one of the tighter spots in town. Add Forum Drive into the mix Sunday and you're looking at some real detours, the kind that'll have folks remembering why they used to avoid this area altogether. Nothing fancy about it, just the cost of maintaining infrastructure in a place that's grown beyond its original street grid, but worth planning around if you've got business or errands on this end of town. Meanwhile, Brewer Science is sending some of its researchers to a major symposium and RMU's got a public power celebration coming up, the kind of reminders that there's still real work and real community happening here even when the roads are tore up.
