Smoke rolling down from the fires up high is the kind of thing that sneaks up on you if you're not paying attention, and by the time you notice the haze, your dog's already spent the afternoon outside breathing it in. The pet advisory going around right now is worth taking seriously, especially if you've got animals that spend time outdoors or have any respiratory issues to begin with. Meanwhile, the construction crews working their way through town are pushing to get projects buttoned up before the weather turns, which means dust and diesel fumes mixing with wildfire smoke makes for pretty rough air quality all around.
