Ty's Take
The courthouse renovation got the planning commission's blessing this week, which means we're one step closer to seeing what comes next for that building downtown. But the real conversation happening in those meeting rooms, and probably over coffee at the usual spots, is whether we want to keep growing at all. The Daily Post's third installment on development asks it straight: do we even want it here? That's the question worth sitting with, because it's not really about the courthouse or any single project. It's about what we think Pagosa Springs is for, and whether we're willing to change to survive or stay small enough to stay ourselves.
