Ty's Take
You'll find a lot to unpack in this week's paper if you care about where Pagosa's headed. There's money on the table: state ag credits for our ranchers and farmers, grant dollars for the arts, tech recognition for our school, and now over three million heading to Archuleta County for electronic recording. That's real. But threading through it all are the harder questions, the ones that don't fit neatly in a headline. Water rights. Bus service to Durango. What kind of development makes sense on land we've lived on for generations. The good news is people are showing up to talk about it, and the county is listening. That's how it works in a place this size, where you run into the same folks at the store next week.
