Ty's Take

Any Tuesday you see this many church announcements clustered together, it's worth asking what's really happening in town. We've got Catholics running a 14-part series on the Holy Spirit, Unitarians gathering to talk politics and voting, St. Francis marking another year of community Mass, and SpiritFire putting on an event across town. On the surface it looks like standard religious calendar stuff, the kind of thing that fills space every week. But there's something else here: people are hungry for meaning-making right now, and they're doing it in rooms full of neighbors instead of alone. Whether it's theology or civics or just the need to sit with others who share your questions, Pagosa's faith communities are stepping up. That's not nothing. That's actually everything.
