Ty's Take
There's a data center story buried in today's paper that deserves more eyeballs than it'll probably get. A massive operation could go up next to homes in this county without a public hearing, which means neighbors wake up one morning to find out something the size of a small town got zoned for their backyard while they were busy with actual life. That's the kind of thing that happens when local control gets outpaced by state rules, and it's worth asking hard questions before the permits are already filed. The wet September that's easing up our water restrictions won't help much if we're committed to powering server farms. Worth watching close.
