Ty's Take
Football season's here again, and that means Friday nights matter the way they do in small towns where there's not much else pulling everybody to the same place at the same time. The choir's gearing up for Christmas already, the Color Run's back for Colorfest, and somebody's selling a camper with a story. Nothing wrong with any of that. But if you've got kids in the stands or on the field this fall, take a hard look at what you're teaching them about how we show up for each other. Because that same muscle, that instinct to be present and pay attention, is what keeps a place like this from falling apart when the real pressures come, whether that's the tax talk heating up around Cloman or the bigger questions about how we're governed. The boys of fall teach us something worth remembering past October.
