Ty's Take
There's something worth watching in how a town decides to feed itself. Healthy Archuleta's push into gardening education isn't just about vegetables or September workshops, though Lord knows we could use more folks growing their own in country this high and dry. It's about whether we're building something that lasts here or just passing through. When you've got second-home owners beside families who've worked this ground for generations, and water's always the question nobody wants to answer first, a community garden becomes political whether anybody means it to or not. The real news today isn't the workshops. It's that somebody in this town is betting we'll still be here, still be hungry, still be looking for reasons to know our neighbors come next spring.
