Three churches laying out their spiritual compass for the coming weeks, a pair of fires that stayed small before they could run, water getting too warm for the fish we depend on, and a town gearing up to throw itself a party. That's Archuleta County this week, which is to say it's a place wrestling with the usual questions: how do we live together, how do we live with what we've got, and how do we keep showing up for one another when the seasons keep shifting on us. The sermon titles say something real. Radical hospitality. Following the way. Inspirational living. Around here those aren't just Sunday words, they're survival words. You live in a place this small, this close to the San Juan Forest and the reservation and the New Mexico line, you figure out pretty quick that the only way through is together.
