Ty's Take
U.S. 160 is getting torn up again—dogleg near the old courthouse pushed back by weather, additional work zones west of town going to snarl things the week after next—and if you've got business in town or a commute that depends on that highway, you already know how it goes. These things need doing, the road's been asking for attention, but spring construction season in Archuleta County means everybody suffers a little while the county figures out how to keep the blood flowing through its main artery. Stock some patience alongside your coffee this week, and leave earlier than you think you need to.
