Ty's Take
This valley lost some good people this week, and gained another case that reminds you why the sheriff's office stays as busy as it does. Alex Carrillo, Lorence Martinez, George F. Morse, and Dylan E. Romero won't be around to see spring come to the high country, and that's the kind of thing that sits with you in a small place where you know faces. The arrest down in Española tells its own story, the kind that plays out in too many kitchens and living rooms around here, and there's not much to say about it except that things boil over and then the law has to pick up the pieces. This is the rhythm of things, whether we like it or not.
