Ty's Take
The Comprehensive Plan revision hearing Wednesday night in White Rock is worth your time if you've got questions about where this county goes next, because right now the pressure valve is wide open. The Lab keeps growing, Santa Fe keeps looking north toward cheaper ground, and suddenly you've got folks from the valley trying to figure out if Los Alamos stays Los Alamos or becomes something else entirely. Housing, traffic, water, schools, what gets built where and how fast, what stays wild on the Pajarito. A consultant's going to walk through some proposed changes, which beats having them happen by accident or necessity later. This is one of those meetings where showing up beats sending a text about it afterwards.
