Ty's Take
The schools are climbing. Four-year highs in academic growth, leading the state, which is the kind of news that tends to get drowned out by everything else happening on the hill, but it matters more than most of what we talk about. Los Alamos has always been a place where people know their way around a problem, know how to measure it, know how to push toward better. That mindset flows downhill from the Lab to the classrooms, and you're seeing it pay dividends now in ways that ripple far beyond test scores. When a community this small, this focused, decides to get something right, the rest of the state notices.
