Lebanon's getting a taste of that old Route 66 magic this week with a Hollywood premiere coming to town. A film built around Laclede County memories—the kind of stories that don't usually get told outside the county line—is bringing some spotlight back to this part of Missouri, and that's worth noticing. In a working town that's spent generations making boats and raising families and fishing the Niangua, it's easy to feel like the real stories get told somewhere else. This one didn't.
