Ty's Take

That Lake Havasu crash is the kind of thing that reminds everybody why the safety lectures matter, even when the weather's perfect and you've run that same stretch a hundred times. Two people gone in what sounds like an instant, the kind of accident that gets written up in incident reports but hits different when you know somebody who knew them. Meanwhile, we've got a full calendar this week around here, boating season in full swing, and plenty of folks out on these waters doing exactly what they love to do. The difference between a good weekend and a tragedy sometimes comes down to one split-second decision, one piece of equipment, one moment of attention. So sure, come out for the Expo events and the festivals and the good food. Just make sure you're making it home the same way you left.
