Ty's Take

A Pleasant Hill man is recovering from serious injuries after a motorcycle accident up in Camden County, which is a reminder that these back roads around the lake region don't always forgive mistakes the way people think they will. Summer's barely started and we're already seeing the kind of calls that stick with first responders for years. Most folks who ride out here know the territory, know where the pavement gets tricky in certain light, but knowing and reacting are two different things when you're moving at speed. Hope this one comes out the other side, but his family's got some hard days ahead either way.
