Between the condo lending squeeze putting pressure on associations, Osage Beach drawing a hard line against data centers, and the school board working through AI risks while adding therapy services, there's a lot of moving parts here in August. The lake keeps churning, and it looks like voters and local leaders both decided this wasn't a month for standing still.
