Ty's Take
There's a boil order in Eldon again, which means somebody's water treatment isn't holding like it should, and that gets people's attention in a lake region where water quality touches everything from tourism to property values to whether your grandkids can swim without worry. Meanwhile, out on Highway 7, MoDot's finally had to do something about those semi loads tipping over on the curves—restricted them from certain routes, which sounds like a band-aid until you think about what it means: somebody had to keep cleaning wreckage off the pavement before they'd admit the road itself was the problem. Both stories boil down to the same thing: infrastructure catching up to what we're actually using it for. That's been the Ozarks story for thirty years.
