Ty's Take
Three tornadoes touched down in Morgan County Monday, and by some miracle—or maybe just the grace of people who know their landscape—nobody died. Firefighters sheltering from an EF-1 at a lightning-struck house fire, residents in basements, drivers who'd seen enough storms to respect them. The Lake takes what it gives us, and we've learned to move fast when the sky goes that color. Weather like that reminds you why folks around here keep their eyes up and their neighbors close.
