Ty's Take
Harbor Hop's back this weekend, which means the docks are going to be packed shoulder-to-shoulder with people who either own a boat or wish they did—and around here, those two groups make up most of the town anyway. It's the kind of event that reminds you why folks move to the lake in the first place, why they stay, and why they'll spend money they probably shouldn't on a new engine or a cabin upgrade before next season. The marinas will move inventory, the restaurants will run their lines out the door, and somebody's going to forget where they parked. If you're planning to get out on the water this weekend, show up early and bring patience. If you're not a boat person, it's a good weekend to know which errands can wait until Monday.
