Ty's Take
School's back in session and the new HHS volleyball team is taking the court with fresh faces leading the way, which means we're sliding into that stretch where the social calendar starts running the town the way it always does. Meanwhile, the ag ed grant coming into the district reminds us that there's still work being done to keep young people connected to the land and the livestock operations that built this county. That combination, right there, is what keeps a place like Houston moving forward.
