Ty's Take

When a pharmacy starts turning people away because the prescription line won't quit, you know something upstream broke. Forbes Pharmacy in town has been slammed since Hutcheson closed their doors, and old Jim and his crew are doing what they always do, which is work harder than they should to keep folks from having to drive an hour for their medications. It's the kind of gap that gets filled by people who were already stretched thin, and it speaks to what happens in a county this size when a neighbor goes under. Good news about our new Troop F commander though, and that's worth celebrating. But somebody ought to check in on that pharmacy crew and make sure they've got what they need to keep standing.
