Ty's Take

Slow week up the valley, which around here usually means folks are out working instead of reading the paper. Right now that's the chile harvest in full swing, trucks rolling before dawn toward the roasters, and nobody's sitting down with the TV guide until the work is done. But that's the rhythm we've always known in Hatch. Come September, when the season settles a bit, people will have time again to think about what's on the screen instead of what's in the field. For now, the only entertainment that matters is watching a crop come in right, and that's entertainment enough.
