Ty's Take
School's coming back and so is the rush, which means it's time to remember what every parent and driver in Luna County already knows but needs to hear again: slow down in those school zones. Kids move fast and don't always look, and a 35-mile-per-hour zone exists for a reason. While we're getting the kids ready, the free vaccine clinic is worth a stop too, especially for families stretched thin come August. The Southern New Mexico State Fair's got entertainment lined up, and yeah, there's plenty of pop culture noise on the radio, but what matters right now is making sure our kids get to school safe and healthy.
