Ty's Take
State Park passes for vets have been running a year now, and it's worth noting that program actually got some traction around here. Folks who served don't get a lot of breaks, and getting them into the outdoors without another bill to pay is a solid use of state resources. The daylight saving time conversation, though, that's something different. Out here where we're already close to the border and dealing with what daylight we've got in the heat and the cold both, permanent changes to the clock don't solve much for working people. We've got water problems, not time problems. Still, if it matters to somebody in Santa Fe, it'll end up mattering to us eventually whether we liked the vote or not.
