New Mexico marks one year of State Park passes for veterans
New Mexico has distributed passes to over 11,000 veterans in the first year since launching a free, lifetime access program to all 35 state parks. House Bill 161, signed by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham in 2025, entitles eligible veterans to unlimited day-use and camping privileges at no cost.
