Meanwhile, the arrests in that teen homicide case suggest police work that actually moves forward, though it's cold comfort to a family that lost someone young. Down at MetraPark they're setting up for the Fair, crews hammering away like nothing else matters, which for those folks it doesn't, and maybe that's what we need right now, some normalcy, some reason to look ahead instead of at the smoke or the crime reports or the names in the obits. The news cycle keeps moving the same way it always does.
