A new president at the state university, 31 fresh nurses joining Billings Clinic, a church that's been here since the beginning marking another chapter, and a medical residency program hitting its tenth year. That's the kind of day it is, and that's the kind of town this is. Billings doesn't get a lot of fanfare for the infrastructure of care and learning that keeps a region functioning, but the work gets done anyway. These are the people and institutions that show up whether anybody's watching or not, and they're still growing. That matters more than most headlines.
