Ty's Take
Sixth graders down at the school are learning where those cottonwoods and Douglas firs come from, how they grow, what they're worth to the country around them. That's the kind of thing that sticks with you, whether you end up running cattle or working timber or just living here and noticing how the Crazy Mountains look different depending on what's standing in front of them. Kids who understand a tree, understand land. And land is what this place is built on, every piece of it. Good on whoever's teaching them to pay attention.
