The fence that's been dividing La Sierra for two years finally has some science behind it. A wildlife study came back with results on that disputed boundary line, and now the people caught in the middle of it have actual data instead of just neighbors yelling past each other. These mountains don't care much about property lines, and apparently the elk and mule deer don't either. What matters now is whether folks can read what that study says and figure out how to live with it, because fences don't solve much when you're sharing the same high country. Sometimes the answer isn't in the fence itself, it's in what you're willing to talk about once the evidence is sitting on the table.
