Meanwhile, the Forest Service is coming to Del Norte next month to talk winter use up on the Rio Grande National Forest, which matters more than it sounds when you're talking about snowmobiles, skiers, and hunters all sharing country that's already tight on access roads and patience. These two things—land use, water, who gets to do what where—are the real arguments in Conejos County, just wearing different names depending on the week.
