Adams State's got plenty of students who can't go five minutes without checking their phones, so watching the K-12 schools go bell-to-bell on this one will be interesting. The no-cell rule is nothing new nationally, but enforcing it in a valley where half the kids work ranch jobs after school and parents need to reach them in an emergency creates real friction. It's worth watching how the schools handle the exceptions, because there will be plenty of calls (no pun intended) from parents who want their kid reachable when there's a sick cow or a family problem. These things sound simple until they hit the ground.
