Ty's Take
There's something worth watching in those numbers coming to White Sands Regional Airport—a hundred and ten grand in infrastructure money that says somebody in the state capital thinks this place is worth betting on for the next chapter. Meanwhile, up in Cloudcroft and over in Tularosa, a couple of young women just proved what we already know: this basin produces athletes who can compete with anybody. That's the real infrastructure—the kind you can't fund with a grant. It comes from families who work hard, coaches who care, and towns small enough that everybody knows your name before you ever step on a track.
