Ty's Take
Slow Tuesday in the Ozarks, the kind of day that reminds you how this region works—we lose good people, we mourn them, and life keeps moving forward. The obits in this week's paper read like a roster of names you'd see at the co-op or the stockyards, men who built something or raised something or just showed up and did the work that keeps a rural county breathing. There was a wreck out Hartshorn way that could've been worse, and somewhere a dog named Winston found his picture in the paper, which probably made somebody's day. Nothing earth-shaking, but that's how it goes most weeks—the real news is in the living and the losing, not the headlines.
